Diary Updates.

Once we're underway with our "Journey home", this is where you'll be able to keep up to date with where we are, and how we're getting along. There will be pictures as well as some movie footage of different events as the trip unfolds. For now...

July - November 2002

One of the first big steps of "The DownundereXpress" is rapidly drawing to a close. The Website. We've tried to make it as colourful as possible, and to give everyone as much information as we can. Anyone who says that Web Designers are underpaid, is talking rubbish. Using Macromedia Dreamweaver it has been a stiff learning curve over the last few months. Working out exactly what work goes into a website, with the aid of a Dummies book, and plenty of patience. Of course we haven't been at it full time, and there was a month off there in the middle with a trip to New Zealand / Rarotonga, but we have enjoyed the experience. And that is what this trip is all about. New experiences. Whether it be almost throwing the PC out the window when it won't do what we want, or driving a truck half way round the world over a pass that exceeds 5000m. The whole journey will be an experience. And thats what its all about, pushing ones limits, and seeing how far you can go.

April 2003

Work on the Downunderexpress is now back in full swing with Brenda and Gummi returning from a ski season in Andorra. Much thought has been given to the trip during our time away from London, and we now have a better idea of the route from England through to as far as Thailand. We are working with a new partner with regards to our journey through Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazahkstan and Kyrgyzstan and China. Within the next 2 months we will have updated the website with our intended route, as well as highlights that we will experience and maps etc showing our whole journey. Also we will have details on how to book and meet us for further information. Stay tuned !!!
